The publication compares US and Australian foreign policy speeches in terms of content and style. It features excerpts from historical speeches delivered by US and Australian dignitaries. The author argues that the quality of Australian speeches dithers in the international realm. He concludes that audiences should demand a higher standard of writing from Australian foreign policymakers.
