This paper compares Australian and Indonesian public opinion on global affairs, foreign policy, the Iraq war and Iran’s nuclear program. It uses the results of the Lowy Institute Poll 2006 and reveals a set of findings regarding the Australian attitude toward Indonesia that have not been studied previously and will serve as a benchmark for future surveys.
