This publication explores normative aspects of the foreign policies of the EU, the US, Russia, China and India. In individual chapters, the authors examine to what extent these five powers can be considered normative foreign policy actors. The authors apply a typology of foreign policy styles. They show how normativity in international relations is understood differently in different countries.
