This briefing paper presents the results of a survey conducted in Ghana for the purpose of estimating public opinion on the performance of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). The survey finds that large majorities of Ghanaians approve of the performance of the president and rate the performance of the NPP administration positively, especially in the delivery of health care and education services. Moreover, results show that trust in the ruling party is high and has increased over time. However, the government's performance is rated negatively in controlling inflation and narrowing income gaps. Perceived corruption in the presidency is also high and trending upward.
