This briefing paper presents data from several Afrobarometer surveys aiming to assess the progress of Ghanaian democratization. Specifically, it tracks how much support democracy enjoys among Ghanaians; how deep popular attitudes to democratic politics are; how satisfied Ghanaians are with the way democracy works in the country; and what threats does Ghanaian democratization face, if any.
