Publication

The paper discusses the economic relations between Japan and Africa and future prospects based on the Fourth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) in May and the G8 summit chaired by Japan in 2008. The paper argues that the TICAD IV provides a framework for boosting economic growth in Africa and addressing human security needs, mainly water education and health.
