The publication discusses the relationship between corruption and mistrust in political institutions across six African countries. The analysis is based on survey data from Botswana, South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and Tanzania. The report concludes that a circular relationship exists between mistrust in the state and experiences with corruption.
