This report summarizes the outcomes of a conference on the prospects for closer relations between Australia and South Korea. According to the author, discussions focused on the potential for greater cooperation in three areas: security and diplomacy, focusing on the Korean peninsula; commercial relations, focusing on a bilateral free trade agreement; and finally, official development aid, a policy area undergoing great change in both countries.
