Publication

This paper addresses geopolitical challenges in the Persian Gulf region and outlines policy options of the US. It particularly examines the role and motivations of Iran, the risks and opportunities emanating from Iraq as well as the preferences of the Gulf States. The author concludes with recommendations for US policy toward the region.
