This brief looks ahead to the 2016 World Conservation Congress (WCC), which convenes every four years under the auspices of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The meeting will concentrate on 1) conserving global biodiversity and ecosystems, and 2) harnessing the solutions nature offers to assorted human development problems.
