This paper examines some of the key questions arising from reconstruction scenarios in the case of Cypriot reunification. The authors examine four different scenarios to estimate the amount of housing, renovation and infrastructure investment needed by the public and private sectors as a result of a settlement. They also estimate the price of such a settlement, while identifying funding sources and potential bottlenecks. The authors argue that despite its costs, reunification would bring significant economic benefits to Cyprus and its population.
