This report presents results from a nationally representative survey assessing the views of the Mozambique's citizens toward democracy. The report begins with some key findings from the survey conducted in Mozambique. The results in a comparative perspective prove to be grounds for concern about the country’s democratic process. The authors suggest that Mozambique’s democratic culture is weak, especially among the country’s rural and uneducated citizens.
