This report looks at public opinion from the second round of Afrobarometer surveys in order to measure attitudes towards democracy and politics in Lesotho in 2003. The results are summarized in terms of citizen's opinions towards democracy and governance, as well as management of the economy. The authors look at the role of citizenship and also situate Lesotho in a global context. The report concludes that people in Lesotho reflect optimism in the future of political and economic reform, despite serious obstacles.
