This report summarizes the results from the second round of Afrobarometer surveys, conducted between June 2002 and November 2003 in 15 African countries. The authors describe and catalog main features of the data and examine the economic, cultural and political opinions, the role of the state and governance in terms of institutional performance. The report features cross-national comparisons, but interpretation of results and comparisons with the first round is kept to a minimum.
