This working paper is concerned with estimating the daily integrated exposure of urban residents in Delhi to carbon monoxide (CO) and respirable suspended particulates (RSP). Previous studies and policies have solely targeted outdoor emissions and concentrations, however, individual health effects are dependent on the dose received. Indoor concentrations and duration of exposure are therefore of great interest. The authors find that with respect to RSP, housewives and female workers are the most exposed groups. Workers in general are those most exposed to CO.
