The Crisis and Risk Network (CRN), formally known as the Comprehensive Risk Analysis and Management Network, is an initiative for international dialog on security risks and vulnerabilities, risk analysis and management, emergency preparedness, and crisis management. The CRN Handbooks focus on aspects of security risks and vulnerabilities, risk analysis and management, emergency preparedness, and crisis management. Written with security policy analysts, researchers, and practitioners in mind, the handbooks can be used either as reference works or as a starting point for further in-depth research.
