This training manual addresses coordination in mine and explosive remnants of war risk education (MRE). It looks at needs assessments for MRE programs, coordination and planning, setting up MRE program monitoring systems and national MRE standards. The manual links directly to the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) Best Practice Guidebook 10, co-developed by the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) in 2003.
