The report summarizes the lessons learned by mine action organizations over the course of 16 years and provides an outlook on potential future challenges. It examines the traditional pillars of mine action such as advocacy, victim assistance, mine risk education, and demining, as well as the management components like program coordination, information management, and capacity development. The report concludes with a provocative assessment of what mine action has achieved since its inception.
