This report evaluates the ongoing efforts to decontaminate unexploded sub-munitions in Laos. In doing so, the report focuses on 1) the development of a strategic decontamination plan (2010’s Safe Path Forward II); 2) the institutions involved in the program, including the National Regulatory Authority; 3) the progress of the demining thus far; and 4) the best practices that have been honed in the field.
