This case study describes the mine dog detection (MDD) training program used by Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) at its Global Training Centre (GTC) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The author explains that the case study is not a training manual, but rather promotes the dissemination of information on successful demining programs to the larger MDD community. The author encourages the evolution of MDD methodologies by providing an example of a particularly successful method among the many other MDD training programs.
