This article addresses the issue of sharing mine action information at a regional level. The authors first define the concept of regional information management and then describe several approaches to information management processes in Latin America. The article discusses the projects in which the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) is involved and which intend to improve information management in mine action.
