Series

The Deep Cuts Commission is a research and consultancy project that aims to address the challenges that prevent the reduction of nuclear weapon arsenals in the states that hold these weapons. The project is jointly conducted by the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg, the Arms Control Association, and the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The commission conducts workshops and produces reports to further its aim of reducing nuclear weapons arsenals as well as to inform policymakers and the public on this issue.
