Dr. Sascha Langenbach

Sascha Langenbach works as a Data Scientist at the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich. He supports the CSS in identifying novel research opportunities that open up through advances in data analytics, and coordinates data-centric collaborations with partners within ETH Zurich as well as with outside stakeholders. Sascha defended his PhD thesis at ETH Zurich in 2019. His doctoral research focussed on the reliability of international trade statistics. He holds a Master’s degree in International Conflict Studies from King’s College London and is an alumnus of the German National Academic Foundation.
