Sarah Wiedemar is a Researcher in the Cyberdefence Project with the Risk and Resilience Team at the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich.
Prior to joining CSS, she worked for the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs at the Swiss Embassy in Moscow, Russia, focusing on Russian foreign and domestic policies. She served four months with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva, supporting the Information Society Forum Summit (WSIS). Her research interests include NATO and cyberspace, artificial intelligence on the battlefield, and space.
Sarah holds a MA in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute IHEID in Geneva with a focus on global security, conflict, and development, and a BA from the University of Lucerne and the University of Zurich in history (major) and Slavic studies (minor).
