ETH Evening Talks: «Building New Alliances? US policy in the Middle East»
On June 30, 2022, the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich hosted an ETH Evening Talk on the topic: «Building New Alliances? US policy in the Middle East».
Michael Singh, Lane-Swig Senior Fellow and managing director at The Washington Institute and former senior director for Middle East affairs at the National Security Council, presented his views about US policy in the Middle East regarding current challenges in the Middle East such as the rapprochement between Israel and certain Arab countries or the Iran’s impact on regional security as well as Teheran’s nuclear program.
Oliver Thränert, Head of Think Tank at the CSS, moderated the discussion.
The ETH Evening Talk was held in English - questions for the discussion could be asked in German or English.
