This project aims at delivering a set of articles that look at the effect of technological revolutions on international security. Each article will focus on a different realm such as naval power, European defense cooperation, or economic advantages in the defense industry. The main idea linking each paper is that IR scholars have largely neglected technological dynamics when dealing with important topics such as power transitions among countries, arms transfers, and so forth. By neglecting technological dynamics, the literature in IR has often reached unwarranted conclusions.
