CSS Evening Talk: The Return of Conventional War?

The Center for Security Studies (CSS) held an “Evening Talk” on “The Return of Conventional War?” on 11 September 2013. Prof. Joachim Krause, Institute for Security Policy Kiel, and in-house expert Martin Zapfe discussed and analyzed possible future military scenarios, post-Afghanistan and Iraq.

From a Swiss point of view, discussing the future of conventional war seemed all the more timely as the new “Sicherheitspolitische Bericht” will, inter alia, focus on new threat dimensions.
