Speaker Series: “Geopolitics of Cyberspace”
On 26 February 2020, Dr. Adam Segal spoke about the "Geopolitics of Cyberspace" as part of the Speaker Series on "US Foreign Policy in the 21st Century: Challenges and Opportunities", which was organized by the Center for Security Studies (CSS) with the support of the US Embassy in Bern.
In his remarks, Dr. Segal discussed the changes in US cybersecurity policy from the Obama to the Trump administrations. He spoke about bureaucratic structures and concepts in foreign policy, and emphasized the difficulties in finding the right institutional responses to a variety of digital risks.
