This issue focuses on Russia’s relations with the Middle East highlighting changes caused by Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. The first three contributions examine Russia’s relations with individual countries, namely Iran (authored by Mark N. Katz), Turkey (Daria Isachenko) and Israel (Lidia Averbukh). The final contribution (by Nikolay Kozhanov) examines Russia’s cooperation with OPEC highlighting the broader relevance of interaction with Saudi Arabia in the context of OPEC+.
